What are your (hockey) New Year’s resolutions for 2008?
Ah, 2007. We hardly knew you (and in my case, which I hadn’t know you, but that’s another story for another day). With the year in question coming to a close, what are your 2008 hockey New Year’s resolutions?

Get a new commish!
Rename the conferences and divisions with more modern names.
At least get some neutral site games to be played in Kansas City instead of freaking England…the new arena is nice!

To get back on the ice soon. My wife just gave birth to our second (and last) so now I have no excuses…or more?
I’ve been quite lazy about playing for a few months now and need to get it going!

I promise to NOT be surprised and disappointed when Vancouver blows it in the play-offs AGAIN! It’s only been about 90 years since the Vancouver Millionaire’s won the cup.(check the record book for the exact year)

I resolve not to try and correct people who know more than me unless I am 1000% sure that they are wrong. There were at least 3 times I did this and ended up looking like an ass.

Lead my team in scoring
Win the state championship again this year.
Not kill my goalie for driving everyone crazy with excessive talking. Aren’t goalies usually quiet?
Not to freeze my butt off when we play in Canada.

1. Not to be a homer. Appreciate any good teams / players.
2. Not to ask any ‘dead horse’ quesitons on Y!A.
3. Not to loose my cool because my team probably wont be consistently good for another year or two.
4. Not be be a ‘hater’, when I have no absolutley idea what players actually do / speak / mean to do on the ice.
5. Not to pay extra for the NHL Network when I am already paying $140/year for Center Ice.

The Rangers to make it to the Easters Conference Finals. Only that because since they got back into the playoffs in 2006, they were sweot in the first round, then the following year, they swept Atlanta & made it to the conference semis. Maybe next season they’ll win the cup.
