How much to update a small company logo?
The logo is small with a couple of simple triangles and writing.

How much would you charge to update it to make it more professional looking.

My "friend" said he would charge me 1000€ and it would usually cost 1500€ . I think thats really expensive. Especially since the logo doesnt really need that much of a change. Just a little makeover. I only asked him as I knew he wasnt working with the crisis.

Is 1000€ about right?

It depends on who does it and their experience. If that's how much he usually charges, then that's how much he charges.

You should ask around and see what local graphic artists charge.

It is very expensive. I made my logo through a company name "Corporate Logo" and It cost me 99$ which is very low as compare to your friend rates. I also recommend you this company
