I have no links to show you but take my word for it Bristol has one of the worst crimes and gang fight rates in the UK.
Once the greatest trading port in the UK over the decades it has slumped so low that the only way now is up.

I’ve lived in Bristol for over ten years, and I’ve never had any trouble. I live in one of the seedier parts of town, too.
Gun & knife crime is very rate. I’d guess that we have something like one murder a year, and usually that’s between feuding ethnic groups (eg Turks v Kurds).
Bristol is one of the loveliest, friendliest cities you could hope to come to.

I am condering moving to Bristol, England, from the countryside; what are crime levels like there?
What are gun and knife crime figures like? What about any evidence of organised crime?
If you include links and sources please make sure they’re official! Thanks!
What about if Nottingham or the East End were thrown in to the equation to use as comparisons?
