Strange dream(s) I had?

So, as a lot of you already know, Mayan civilization predicted 21.12.2012 to be the time that will end the world we are familiar with. Some say it is the end of the World, some say nothing will happen. There is thousands of different theories. One of the theories I heard, is also one I believe in. It says that people will become more spiritual, and will not care for money as much as they do now. That`s only one of many reforms that would take place. However my friend believes this will indeed happen, but as a consequence of decreased population (unlike me, he believes that with 21.12.2012 to come, at least 50% of worlds population will die). My friends also refers to it as an approaching Apocalypse. There is lot of things we sometimes debate about. We both also agree that something will change and that whatever form it will appear in, we shall be ready and well-prepared for it. The funny thing is, that since I was born I feel incredible love for martial arts (I study martial arts), and my friend admires weapons (all sorts of, he collects whatever he can, fire or melee or else).

I dreamed that a fight took place against ultimate evil, a fight to decide fate of World, Universe,… whatever. I however didn`t take part in it, despite the fact I was one of those who could help the most. I was rather resting, probably because I knew that even my help (at that particular moment) wouldn`t affect the outcome. Later, I would be more useful. There are some other things I didn`t mention, but I told enough. Than I`m not sure if I woke up and again fell asleep, or it was all one dream, or I forgot this part of my dreams, but the next thing I remember, I was at home in the city (however that home and city weren`t the place I live now). There wasn`t much people, if there was any. And I knew there were thousands of zombies in the whole world. (NOTE: I don`t know if this dream was continuation of previous one or not.) I walked across the city being aware of the danger zombies present… This was only the beginning of my dreams. The rest was many things which occured like living in this town full of zombies, meeting some new people, old friends and much more. The story was really deep, and now that I think of it, it was really amazing in its own way.
Now you may wonder: "So what?" I dreamed zombies and that`s all. Many people about zombies, what is there to interpret?
Interesting is that, my friend dreamed about the zombies as well the same day. His story wasn`t as deep, though. Later that day I also realized I (and my friend) dreamed this on 21.12.2009 (3 years before 21.12.2012)!

What is your opinion on this?

Look, I know I would freak out too if this would of happened to me. So i think it could be one of two possibilities:

1: The boring one, a mere coincidence

2: A sign that you need to be ready for a zombie infestation :p

But first let me say this, as much as I would love to say its not a coincidence, most people when they start thinking a lot about something (in your case 2012) you start to notice a lot of *coincidences* like me my favorite number is 8, if in class I get a book and the number on it is 8 I turn around to a friend and say: its my lucky book! on the other hand if the number is 3 or any other number than 8 I’ll just ignore it. I will also freak out when I see 9:11 on the clock, and I see it a lot and that is because I Notice it. I don’t if its 10:08 I just look away and say oh its 10. What I am trying to say is that I already dreamed the same exact dream to the detail with my friend, and how we got upon the subject, i don’t know. I never talk about my dreams to friends.

I admit the 3 years exactly thing is weird and if your friend wouldn’t of dreamed it I would probably of said: "you have dreams all the time and you noticed that it was 21.12.2009 because you think about 21.12.2012 a lot." And maybe it still applies here with your friend if he thinks about 2012 even if its just in your subconscious mind. Like you said many people dream of zombies, and his dream wasn’t exactly the same as yours, you guys just have it on your mind and *notice it*!!

I used to believe that 2012 was the end of the world too. But then I realized, the Mayan calender is like a clock and works like one, when the end of the day comes, its not the end of the world, it starts over and goes back to midnight. The Mayan calender works the same way, when it will finish its 2012 year cycle, it will start over and go to 1. So in a way what the so called and widely believed *end of the world* could be interpreted more as the beginning of a new age, a new world.

The Mayan’s did predict the end of the world in 12/21/12 in fact, its not the first MAJOR disaster they predicted… they also predicted others, that came true already… this leads me to believe that their prediction of the disaster to come in 2012 to come true as well… but we’ll see…
