I only realised it was a knife when I saw blood, I cut him on the arm and am being done for ABH. I had previously been beaten up by my X boyfriend and on this occasion with my current boyfriend I can’t really claim self defence, as he was not going for me in an aggressive manner. I just got scared. I am to appear in crown court and am really scared what could happen to me and my future, I am a good person and this is my first offence but the prosecution is making me sound really bad. I understand I did something wrong but don’t want it to destroy my life, does any one have advice for me on what will happen and what to expect. any advice please.
