Afraid….?
I got a wicked sunburn today any suggestions on miracle cures
And I’m also afraid to take a shower because it hurts so bad already..ideas?
I’ve tried aloe right from the plant and the bottle we had in the fridge, but I still feel like I’m on fire.

Yep, Aloe. Get the pure gel, no dyes. Try cool compresses if you think you can handle it. I had a person tell me once that showering with 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water as a rinse will take the sting out. I didn’t think it was all that great and it smelled quite a bit, but if your desperate…

Make sure you use sunscreen next time, for your skin health. It’s so easy to forget about the possibility of skin cancer. Take care of yourself.

Couple of things…of course aloe vera, a vinegar sponge bath, or ice yourself down as long as you can stand it. I did this as a lifeguard and the aloe works, but the best is the vinegar. Use a sponge or wash towel. Of course it’s only temporary and time will remove it.
